The Vanguard Weekly #3: Before the cross, Jesus prayed for you.

Scripture: 

I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.  I pray that they will all be one, as you are in me, Father, and I am in you.  May they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.  I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.  John 18:20-22 NLT

Prayer:  

Blessed Father, thank you that Jesus prayed for us. Help us walk in truth, love one another, and live as one in Christ.  Use our lives to bring glory to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Kingdom Principle:

Jesus' final prayer was for us.  He prayed that we would know God, walk in truth, and live in unity so that the world would see Him through us.  Unity in Christ is our strength.
